How can social work make the world a better place?

Imagen
Hi everyone! It's me again, I hope you are well, today I will talk about how my career can make the world a better place In the first place, social work is a discipline that manages to positively affect society, since it has been quite helpful, because it is responsible for promoting social development, caring for the most vulnerable sectors, giving them guidance, tools and intervening in order to achieve a better quality of life in people, as well as to generate help for specific problems.  I would like to be of great help in this process and I imagine focusing on the area of justice, such as juvenile justice or penal institutions, although this preference may change in the future I think that social work is an indispensable career, which is aware of the different realities of the country and constantly fights to eliminate inequality as well as to respect human rights, therefore it contributes to social welfare and benefits the world, is incredible! Thank you for reading💘

Hello, today I am telling you about this photo. With my uncle we had gone to leave food for my grandfather, while he and his cousin went to pick lettuce, I stayed with my grandfather. We talked and he asked me to take pictures of him “to make him famous”, as he always says, since he is a quite joker. Good person, joker and intelligent, these are words that perfectly describe my grandfather, who has been a great father to me. 💕 It is a special photo with a special person, where you can see that he works and does what he has always done, hard work that must be recognized and valued, something that I always keep in mind. It also reminds me of the conversation and jokes from that day, like the ones we always have and love! PS: He grows the richest lettuces they can eat 😋

My favorite food

Hello! Today I will talk about my favorite food, which is not easy to choose. Sometimes I prefer the puree or the casserole that my grandmother makes. But my favorite food is noodles. I really like noodles, since they can be accompanied with whatever you want! 👏 You can prepare them hot or cold, with tomato sauce or cream and you can accompany them with whatever you like the most, such as mushrooms, meat or vegetables. I prefer them cold along with vegetables, like tomato, lettuce, broccoli, corn and I also add boiled egg and tuna. I feel that it is an ideal meal for hot days and easy to prepare, because you only have to cook the noodles and then, when they are cold, add the vegetables that you like the most. I think it is still healthy, because it contains quite a few vegetables that provide a lot of nutrients.

Piece of technology

Hello everyone, today I am here to talk about technological objects. My favorite technological object is my tablet, my mother gave it to me this year and what I like the most is that I can give it many uses, such as reading, watching videos, listening to music, taking notes and watching classes, therefore, I use it to often. I also like because its size is adequate and I can add a keyboard or mouse to optimize its use. It is an object that I use daily and it is useful, so it would be difficult not to have it in my life.

How I decided to study social work?

Hello, this time I will tell you how I decided to study social work. To be honest, I have no recollection of what work I liked or attracted my attention to as a child. At some point, while I was studying in high school, I had an interest in psychology and pedagogy in language, the latter since it was one of my favorite subjects and the teachers that I had inspired me a lot. Talking with my youngest uncle, he recommended me to research careers such as sociology or anthropology and it was there when I finished researching about social work, I read and talked with people who practiced the profession until I made my decision. My experience at the university has been good so far, despite the online classes. I'm still not sure in which area I would like to work in, but the area of justice draws a lot of attention, such as juvenile justice, courts or penal institutions.
